The short version

DaysNest does not ask you to sign up. Dates you type into our calculators are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. We only receive your name and email if you choose to send us a message.

Messages you send us

When you use the contact form, we store your name, email, chosen topic, city (if you add one) and message so we can read and answer it. A copy is emailed to us. To limit spam, we also store a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address, never the address itself. We do not use your details for marketing and do not share them. We delete messages we no longer need, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time through the same form.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful, for example how many people visit and from which country. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data such as your browser type and approximate location. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Advertising

DaysNest is free because it shows ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Cookies and your choices

We store two small settings in your browser: your light or dark theme, and your cookie choice. These are essential and never leave your device.

If you visit from the UK, the European Union or elsewhere in Europe, we ask before setting any analytics or advertising cookies, and they stay off until you click "Accept all". You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Children

DaysNest is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
